daily life at Windfire Yoga Retreats

Our courses are all intensives with morning and afternoon classes each day, except the first (afternoon only) and last (morning only). There is a one day break during the Immersion courses and two half days in the Depth Intensive.

Our vegatarian meals (vegan option on request) are prepared as much as possible with local, organic produce and the loving attention of dedicated cooks. They are provided after each class. Healthy snacks, fruit and tea are freely available throughout the day and night. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Morning classes taught by Godfri begin at 07.30 am and finish around 12.30pm. These classes include pranayama, posture and meditation praxis, followed by a talk on yoga practice and its implications.

Afternoon classes taught by Olivia provide the opportunity for you to clarify the subtleties of the yoga method in a more interactive context.

Every evening there is a candle-lit silent meditation.
